LOIKKA WADING SHOE 7

TOSSU 2.0
Tossu wading shoes were developed to be a more rigid to support one’s foot in all possible conditions. The 2.0 version has been modified to be even stronger. We replaced the rubber wear protector with a PVC one so we could add the stitch grooves to protect the stitches from wearing out.Tossu 2.0 shoes have a unique moulded EVA midsole. The construction of this boot is made in a way which secures the upper part to the lower part extremely well due to both gluing and sewing the pieces together. The construction also enables the easy, solid and safe attachment of Vision studs. It provides good ankle support and the front rubber bumper gives great protection against rocks. Available with both felt sole and new Gummi™ sole with improved grip.

Very rigid overall design

Available with black felt and Gummi™ soles

Can be studded with Vision Tungsten studs

TOSSU 2.0 WADING BOOTS / Vision

Mako is now available also with Vision's own Gummi rubber sole with low-profile tungsten studs in sizes #7 - #14. After a long period of development and testing, we are proud to present our new rubber sole, called GUMMI. This material is clearly softer and stickier than for example widely used Vibram. As a result we have now a material, which is providing a unique level of traction. To make sure that the sole stays glued to the bottom of the boot, we extended the sole to cover the front part of the shoe giving thus good protecting for toes. This way we can prevent the way too common phenomena, where something sharp goes between the sole and the boot and eventually makes the sole come away. The final touch in our pursuit for superior traction is achieved by including well tested and proven low profile tungsten studs to the sole.
KOSKI
Strong but lightweight Koski shoe is made from durable PVC material. This material doesn’t absorb water like fabrics, so it dries quicker and feels lighter. The PVCs characteristics make this shoe very supportive and gives the shoe a good stability and torsional stiffness. The upper of the shoe is stitched to the moulded EVA midsole for strength.

Lightweight but solid

Made out of synthetic material for minimal water absorption

Optimized seam placement

Comfortable neoprene lining in the ankle part

Proper protection for the toe and heel areas

Durable nylon shoe laces

Available with felt and Gummi™ rubber soles

Can be studded with Vision Tungsten studs

MERISUOLA PREDATOR
The Merisuola Predator series is reinforced with Graphene. The action is a bit softer compared to the Merisuola Graphene series. The action is adapted for casting big flies for big predatory fish in fresh-, brackish- and saltwater. Because of the big demand from active fishermen these rods are made with EVA handles. This ensures these rods really take the beating they are designed for. These rods incorporate everything we have learned during 20+ years of rod design and manufacturing. We give a rating for the carbon that is used in each of our graphite rods. The higher the number the higher the modulus of the carbon that is used for the rod. The rating is closely related to the tonnage of the carbon in each of the rods. However this is not the whole truth as we use different carbon mixtures to achieve the wanted rod action and also the resins differ from model to model. But this rating is an indication of the main carbon used in the blank. Our premium rods use graphene in the resin and rods are identified by the Graphene logo.

Strong Medium Fast action

Four piece rods

The blanks are over 10% lighter than original Merisuola

A natural unsanded and unpainted blank for the best action

Unique graphene reinforced resin combined with a mix of different carbon fibre

A double nut up-locking precision machined aluminum reel seat

New patented REC Cerecoil nickel titanium stripping and REC snake guides

Full wells EVA handles

Fighting butt size varies with rod weight and a target species branded on the end cap of the FB

Supplied in a custom aluminium tube with engraved metal end caps together with a cloth bag

Designed and developed in Finland

Merisuola Predator rod / Vision #10 - 9'0"

Vision Tool DH rods have been a kind of an enigma since their introduction. Black matte blanks together with exceptional reel seats and thin EVA handles gave these rods a unique stealthy look. So much so, that some more conservative anglers have avoided even testing these rods. Most of those who have tested have been really happy with the smooth and powerful performance of these rods. However, in order to make them more approachable for everybody, Vision made Tool DH rods also available with cork handles. In addition, Vision introduced three new models (currently only available with cork handles): 11’6’’ #5, 11’6’’ #7 and 11’6’’ #8. These short light DH rods are excellent tools not only for small waters but also for high water conditions on larger rivers when fish are often coming up very near the bank, not to mention how convenient these short rods are when you are forced to fish under trees or in otherwise restricted space.

Medium fast / fast action

Four piece rods

Black matt blank with no markings

Novel reel seat design

Comes in a triangular cordura tube

CUSTOM DH
Custom DH rod series consist of wide range of models with specific actions and lengths. We wanted to have free hands for creating really cool actions for each model and not be restricted by a certain type of action for the whole series. The actions vary a lot from model to model and are designed for the task they are most likely going to be used for. Each rod has a name that describes the personality of the rod. ”In my honest opinion its by far the best sinkline rod I Ever used.
NYMPHMANIAC
Nymphmaniac rods have been designed together with some of the best competition anglers in Europe including Jarkko Suominen, Cato Monsen, Jan Kubala and David Ferreras. They are designed especially for modern nymph fishing techniques. Nymphmaniac meets the requirements of the most demanding anglers in a reasonable price range. Everything on these rods is built with the intended purpose in mind. These have been designed to be as light and as easy to handle as possible. The blank dampens immediately after the stop when casting which is extremely important to sustain proper contact and a feel for light nymphs. New and modern nymph rods have enough power in the tip so hooking a fish is effortless but at the same time they bend enough when a fish is making sudden movements when fighting. Also fighting a bigger fish is not a problem with the powerful butt section of the rod.The perfect nymph fishing setup is completed with the Vision Ultra Light Nymph-line https://visionflyfishing.com/product/ultra-light-nymph/We give a rating for the carbon that is used in each of our graphite rods.
ONKI
Onki consists of 12 carefully created medium-fast rod models to cover most of the situations anglers face when fishing for normal freshwater species on creeks, rivers and on various stillwater destinations. The quality of high-modulus Korean graphite (40 tn) is something you normally find only in more expensive rods and it enabled us to create a very light and sensitive rod. The rest of the components are also of great quality. For example the handles have narrow rubber/cork reinforcements to make them more durable. With these rods your money is truly well spent. We give a rating for the carbon that is used in each of our graphite rods.
